As part of our comprehensive transport service for SEND children we also offer the provision of passenger assistants. Passenger assistants are responsible for the care, supervision of children while travelling to and from school or college and support passengers with boarding and alighting vehicles. Our passenger assistants are appropriately trained in the care of children and young people with additional needs. Their training consists of Safeguarding, First Aid, passenger harnesses, PATS ( CTA approved ) and they are also enhanced DBS checked.
